About the role

  • A professional counselor or Licensed Social Worker (e.g., LPC, LMSW, LISW, LMFT) General knowledge of Electronic Health Record systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a client caseload, consult with other staff as well as referring agencies, perform client follow-up and discharge duties.
  • Prepare, receive, and process a variety of documents and reports.
  • Maintain a valid Driver's License.

Requirements

  • Maintain all required credentialing.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders detailed in the DSM-V.
  • Knowledge of ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria.
  • Attend required training and meetings.
  • Ensure that assigned program meets the policies, procedures, and licensing standards required by DHEC, CARF, and the DAODAS Quality Assurance Standards.

  • General knowledge of Electronic Health Record systems.
  • Minimum - Master's Degree in health and human services field.
  • Assess clients to evaluate and assign the appropriate services/education treatment program, conduct group therapy sessions, and occasionally provide counseling services to individuals.
  • Record keeping on an Electronic Health Record system (Qualifacts/CareLogic).
