- For the Managing Technical Consultant, Biologist/Regulatory Specialist, Power and Technology Sectors position, the anticipated annual base pay is $93,050 - $124,245 (USD).
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical studies and impact assessment documents (Biological Assessments, EIRs, Constraints Reports).
- Lead permitting strategies, prepare applications, and negotiate conditions with regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with account teams to deliver strategic value and expand ERM's services.
- Drive innovation within ERM's Impact Assessment and Planning service offering.
- Lead environmental impact assessments and permitting efforts for marine and onshore environments under CEQA and NEPA.
- Develop and execute permitting strategies for complex capital projects, negotiating with state and federal agencies.
- Drive innovation in environmental consulting, influencing ERM's reputation as a trusted advisor for high-profile projects.
- Build strategic client relationships, expanding ERM's footprint in the power and technology sectors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Biology, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of consulting experience with deep expertise in regulatory frameworks for offshore/onshore power and tech projects.
- Leadership experience with a passion for team development and mentorship.
- Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, California Coastal Commission, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and similar agencies.
Compensation
- For the Managing Technical Consultant, Biologist/Regulatory Specialist, Power and Technology Sectors position, the anticipated annual base pay is $93,050 - $124,245 (USD).
- Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs.
- In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
- This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
