Responsibilities

  • As a Software Engineering Intern on the Boltline by Stoke Space Team, you will be working on our web-based SaaS that helps advanced hardware manufacturing teams design, track, iterate, build and test in a fast and reliable manner.
  • You will contribute to the full software lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment, in a fast-paced and iterative development environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in front-end or back-end software development
  • Experience with real-time systems
  • Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or a similar STEM field
  • Project-level experience with Python, C, or Rust
  • Hands-on engineering experience through internships, personal projects, work, or teams
  • Ability to learn and apply state of the art techniques to technical projects
  • Exceptional command of engineering fundamentals
  • Ability to manage a complex technical project and take it through execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Able to work full-time, onsite for a minimum of 10-12 consecutive weeks

Nice to have

  • Experience in embedded devices or autonomous systems
  • Experience with OS and kernel level work
  • Experience in 1 or more of the technologies utilized in our tech stack: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Apollo, Express.js, Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, AWS
  • Vehicle Software
  • Experience in 1 or more of the technologies utilized in our tech stack: AWS, Time Series Data, Svelte, WebGPU
  • Company events with Leadership team
  • Mentorship from industry-leading engineers
  • Direct ownership of real rocket products
