About the role

Join a growing team working to keep people safe from security threats in the built environment.
Our team includes people from a variety of architectural, engineering and security backgrounds who work together on a wide range of project types including education facilities, office buildings, transit infrastructure, and sports facilities.

Draft reports and memorandums to communicate risk assessments, security requirements / recommendations and other technical design information.
Coordinate security requirements and design information with architects, owners, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
A strong interest in security consulting as it relates to building and infrastructure design and construction.

Requirements Undergraduate degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil or Structural Engineering or other building design disciplines.

Security topics include, but are not limited to physical security, security technology and operational security.
2+ years of experience in the architecture and engineering industry.
Exposure to electrical engineering, electronic security systems, and/or IT Infrastructure systems preferred.
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, Revit, Rhino preferred.
A desire to become familiar with the relevant standards, best practices, and methodologies for protecting people in and around facilities.
Compensation The rate for this position generally is $75,000 - $85,000 annually.
