About the role

Trueline is seeking an Estimator to join their team with a well-established commercial flooring contractor serving clients across the United States.

Review plans, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements Perform accurate quantity takeoffs using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar software Prepare detailed project estimates and written proposals Create color-coded shop drawings for installation teams Coordinate RFIs, ASIs, and bid clarifications with general contractors and project teams Source and negotiate material pricing while accounting for lead times and project schedules Track project specifications, value engineering opportunities, and scope changes Participate in scope review and pre-bid meetings Ensure a smooth handoff of awarded projects to the Project Management team Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes and documentation Build strong relationships with general contractors, vendors, and clients throughout the bidding process
