About the role
- The Sales Representative & Product Developer is responsible for maximizing sales performance and profitability within the assigned Enza Zaden customer base by effectively managing existing products and driving the development and introduction of new varieties.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Identify promising experimental varieties through local trials and collaboration with global Breeding teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the sales budget, forecasting, and pricing activities for the assigned territory and customer base.
- Develop, implement, and monitor customer-specific plans to ensure effective execution of tactical sales strategies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Enza Zaden product portfolio and provide expert technical advice to ensure successful cultivation and performance of varieties.
- Product Development and Pipeline Support
- Design and implement trial plans to evaluate new and existing varieties under local conditions, ensuring accurate and meaningful results.
- Enza Zaden is an international family-owned company that has been developing innovative vegetable varieties since 1938.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in an Agricultural major is required.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in sales, product development, agriculture, or a related industry.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient in English, written and spoken is required.
- prior experience with vegetable seed market in the Pacific Northwest region is desirable.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and move items up to 25 - 30 lbs.
- Ability to work under varying weather conditions.
Compensation

- The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, and other objective job-related factors.
- Estimated Starting Salary Rate: $95,000 - $115,000 The starting salary is offered in good‑faith, based on role level, skill, qualifications and local market data.
