About the role
- The position is part of a dedicated team of professionals responsible for all facets of the fund accounting, corporate finance, financial reporting and investor relations functions for two Business Development Companies ("BDCs").

Nice to have
- Book investment activity in our internal accounting system (Advent Geneva)
- Reconcile cash activity between our internal accounting system and our Administrator (State Street)
- Assist in oversight of the accounting functions performed by our Administrator
- Gather info for financial statement and SOX audit requests/research questions from auditors
- Assist with preparation of various compliance reports (e.g., credit facility, BDC/RIC, etc.)
- Identify and help solve for critical accounting and reporting issues
- Interface as necessary with external auditors, internal auditors, and service providers
- Professional certification preferred (CPA or equivalent)

Compensation
- The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000-120,000.
- The base salary offered to the selected candidate will be commensurate with a candidate's relevant experience and other qualifications for the position, as determined by Sixth Street in its sole discretion.
- In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a competitive benefits package.
- If a job offer is extended for a location other than New York, the salary range may differ based on the location.
