About the role
- The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading hourly production employees to safely produce high-quality products while meeting production schedules, cost objectives, and customer expectations.
- This role provides frontline leadership by driving employee engagement, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across assigned shifts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment with zero preventable injuries.
- Deliver high-quality products that meet customer specifications.
- Develop engaged, accountable, and high-performing teams.
- Drive continuous improvement while controlling labor, waste, and overtime costs.
- Flexibility is expected to support operational requirements, employee development, and customer commitments.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions.
- Drive adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and respect.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to investigate product issues and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
- Experience in a union manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement principles.
- Experience with warehouse operations and shipping logistics.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems such as M3 or SAP.

- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
- $63,000 to $82,700
- Lead, coach, and develop hourly production employees.
