About the role

  • The Accounting Manager oversees the daily operations of the organization's general ledger accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with applicable laws and standards.
  • Responsibilities include managing the general ledger, supervising accounting staff, preparing financial statements, coordinating audits, and ensuring timely month-end and quarter-end closes.

  • Manage the month-end and quarter-end closes in accordance with US GAAP by ensuring timely and accurate completion of account reconciliations for accounts payables, fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, and cash accounts.
  • Oversee and support additional accounting functions, such as AP and expenses.
  • Recommend and develop process and system improvements that increase the teams' efficiency and effectiveness and improve CX and EX.

Requirements

  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong leadership, attention to detail, and knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP) are essential.

Nice to have

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA/M.B.A. is a plus.
  • Five-plus years of related experience.
  • Public accounting experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on working knowledge of financial applications.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, Concur, and E-Trade are a plus.
  • Experience using AI tools is a plus.

Compensation

  • $94,000 - $154,000
