- Scion is paving a path in student living and we're seeking a talented Junior Property Accountant to join us in executing our vision.
- This position will focus on providing financial reporting and key insights into the performance of Scion's communities.
Responsibilities
- Maintains general ledgers in compliance with GAAP monthly.
- Provides support to the Property Accounting team as needed, regarding financial performance of assigned.
- Update Real Estate and Personal Property Tax data in the ITAM software module based on tax partner recommendations.
- Provides support to auditor inquiries as requested.

- Operational Details
- Job location is based at Scion's Chicago corporate headquarters
- Working hours consist of standard daytime business hours
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred or 0-2 years of relevant work experience in an accounting function.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- experience with PMS systems such as Entrata is a plus.
