About the role

  • You will work directly with senior litigators, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility and grow toward a senior paralegal role.
  • This position will be hybrid in our Chicago office.
  • Screening Interview Our HR Director will reach out to you to schedule a preliminary 30-minute phone screening.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare legal documents, including complaints, discovery requests, motions, briefs, pretrial agreements, subpoenas, summonses, and appeals.
  • Support attorneys with preparation for arbitrations, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Manage case files, documents, exhibits, evidence, calendars, deadlines, and court dates while maintaining well-organized files throughout the life of each matter.
  • Coordinate with expert witnesses, clients, and court personnel, including scheduling, document exchange, and report preparation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
  • 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal

Compensation

  • $70,000 - $80,000 USD
