Responsibilities

  • Own the Monthly Close Process
  • Manage the month end reporting deliverables, ensuring data integrity before executive narrative is finalized
  • Maintain daily contact with Accounting on close status, preliminary actuals, and open items
  • Lead Business Leader Engagement
  • Validate business leader forecast submissions against historical patterns and financial assumptions, escalating risks to the FP&A Director
  • Drive Forecast Coordination
  • Partner with the Senior Financial Analyst on bookings, churn, and deal timing assumptions, serving as the first-pass validator before Director approval
  • Maintain version control and documentation discipline across forecast iterations
  • Lead a monthly retrospective on the close and forecast cycle - identifying what broke, what slipped, and what to improve the following month
  • Own continuous improvement of business leader templates, forecast documentation, and close calendar processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Strong communicator: you can prepare materials for business leaders and translate financial complexity for executive audiences

Nice to have

  • Strong financial modeling skills in Excel
  • experience with ERP or CPM platforms (NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, or similar) a plus
