Responsibilities
- Own the Monthly Close Process
- Manage the month end reporting deliverables, ensuring data integrity before executive narrative is finalized
- Maintain daily contact with Accounting on close status, preliminary actuals, and open items
- Lead Business Leader Engagement
- Validate business leader forecast submissions against historical patterns and financial assumptions, escalating risks to the FP&A Director
- Drive Forecast Coordination
- Partner with the Senior Financial Analyst on bookings, churn, and deal timing assumptions, serving as the first-pass validator before Director approval
- Maintain version control and documentation discipline across forecast iterations
- Lead a monthly retrospective on the close and forecast cycle - identifying what broke, what slipped, and what to improve the following month
- Own continuous improvement of business leader templates, forecast documentation, and close calendar processes
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Strong communicator: you can prepare materials for business leaders and translate financial complexity for executive audiences
Nice to have
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel
- experience with ERP or CPM platforms (NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, or similar) a plus
