About the role

  • General Summary The Emergency Department (ED) Registrar initiates contact with patients to ensure that the ED patient registration and billing process is complete and accurate.

Responsibilities

  • The Registrar provides administrative support as needed to ED administrative, operations, and clinical staff.

Requirements

  • The Registrar must be able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced and hectic clinical environment.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of insurance or registration systems helpful - 1-year related work experience preferred
