About the role
- Using a Forklift and/or Reach Equipment safely, accurately and productively unload/load containers, pull product, put product away and remove/transport empty pallets throughout the facility.
- Safely, accurately and productively unload freight from containers/trucks.
- Follow all safety practices during trailer unloading /loading (i.e. physically chock trailer tire and lock trailer out).
Responsibilities
- Report all inventory problems to Lead / Supervisor personnel (i.e. physically empty position that PkMS shows as containing a part).
- Perform all inventory movements in PkMS using an RF device.
- Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001 and 14001; understand and fully support IS0 system.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements
- must be able to read and understand English.
- Ability to do basic math
- One year experience in driving a forklift / reach equipment in a warehouse environment and have proper certification.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in PKMS preferred but not required.
