Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills are required.
  • Travel required approximately 60%.
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with ESAB equipment a plus.
  • Exposure to high-voltage systems (240V, 460V, and 575V three-phase voltages). Knowledge of high-power converters is preferred.
  • Experience with structured training methodologies and learning management platforms (e.g., Critical Path, ESAB University).
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project as well as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based training / LMS portals).
  • Ability to support the needs of and interact appropriately with cross-functional personnel.
  • Excellent customer relationship building skills and ability to work cross-functionally and culturally.
  • Working Conditions
  • Remains in a stationary position 50% of the time and involves additional physical demands such as ascending/descending stairs, walking stooping and standing.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment 'PPE' when working/visiting manufacturing and plant locations.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure safe working environments.
  • They will also comply with industry safety standards while performing their duties.
  • Management of spare parts orders, stocking requirements and logistical functions to promote on-time delivery and targeted service levels.
  • Associate degree in electronic engineering technology or 2-3 years related experience
  • Prior experience with ESAB equipment a plus.
  • Exposure to high-voltage systems (240V, 460V, and 575V three-phase voltages).
  • Knowledge of high-power converters is preferred.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical background and knowledge of equipment repair and troubleshooting.

Skills

  • Identify and assess the technical training needs of ARC's in North America and evaluate their levels of competency.
  • Identify gaps and provide the technical writing of service and repair guides, manuals, and procedures for the ARC network.
