Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills are required.
- Travel required approximately 60%.
- or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with ESAB equipment a plus.
- Exposure to high-voltage systems (240V, 460V, and 575V three-phase voltages). Knowledge of high-power converters is preferred.
- Experience with structured training methodologies and learning management platforms (e.g., Critical Path, ESAB University).
- Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project as well as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based training / LMS portals).
- Ability to support the needs of and interact appropriately with cross-functional personnel.
- Excellent customer relationship building skills and ability to work cross-functionally and culturally.
- Working Conditions
- Remains in a stationary position 50% of the time and involves additional physical demands such as ascending/descending stairs, walking stooping and standing.
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment 'PPE' when working/visiting manufacturing and plant locations.
Nice to have
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure safe working environments.
- They will also comply with industry safety standards while performing their duties.
- Management of spare parts orders, stocking requirements and logistical functions to promote on-time delivery and targeted service levels.
- Associate degree in electronic engineering technology or 2-3 years related experience
- Prior experience with ESAB equipment a plus.
- Exposure to high-voltage systems (240V, 460V, and 575V three-phase voltages).
- Knowledge of high-power converters is preferred.
- Strong electrical and mechanical background and knowledge of equipment repair and troubleshooting.
Skills
- Identify and assess the technical training needs of ARC's in North America and evaluate their levels of competency.
- Identify gaps and provide the technical writing of service and repair guides, manuals, and procedures for the ARC network.
