About the role

  • The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) seeks a doctoral-level Biostatistician (Research Scientist, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor), non-tenure-track. to serve as a faculty member within the Translational Research Center.
  • Participate in the Evidence and Systems-Based Practice (ESP) or equivalent curriculum thread
  • Evaluate student performance and contribute to curriculum improvement efforts

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, delivery, and evaluation of biostatistics instruction within the MD curriculum, including pre-clerkship and clerkship phases
  • ​Design research protocols
  • Develop statistical analysis plans
  • ​Study design and methodology consultation
  • Partner with the Translational Research Center and affiliated research infrastructure to support investigator-initiated and sponsored studies

Requirements
