About the role
- Entegris is currently seeking a Senior Chemist, Technical Laboratory Operations to join our Analytics & Metrology, Wet Lab team.
- This position will be based in our Burnet facility.
- In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring reliable, high-throughput analytical metrology in a production laboratory supporting semiconductor-grade precursors and wet chemical cleans.
Responsibilities
- Maintain measurement system capability (precision, accuracy, repeatability) for production testing
- Support measurement system analysis (MSA) activities and ensure methods remain fit-for-purpose
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of instrumentation, focusing on uptime, sensitivity, and stability
- Support instrument qualification, performance verification, and lifecycle management
- Author and maintain SOPs, test methods, and data review procedures
- Support audits, inspections, and customer inquiries by providing technical expertise and documentation
- Lead analytical investigations supporting production excursions, out-of-spec (OOS) results, and customer complaints
- Partner with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to resolve material quality issues
- Support product disposition decisions through clear interpretation of analytical results
- Evening and weekend support as needed to support lab chemists and laboratory operations
Requirements
- Ensure timely release of materials by meeting required turnaround times for production testing
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- include Experience in semiconductor materials supply (precursors, acids, solvents, cleans) Experience with SPC, trending tools, and production data systems (e.g., LIMS)
