About the role

  • Samsung Austin Semiconductor is looking for an Equipment Technician who will be responsible for performing activities involved with the recovery of CVD tools from PM including qualifications.
  • Documenting / communicating material from tool interruptions to Process team to ensure the material is measured and dispositioned correctly is also important.
  • High energy with a focus on Quality and detail is important.

Responsibilities

  • Working with senior personnel and engineers to perform troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance.

Requirements

  • Daily equipment process and equipment trend monitoring will be required, as is responding to interlocks in a timely manner.
  • You will interact with Shift Supervisor in scheduling PMs, delivering ETAs for tool recovery, Documenting/following standard operating procedures during PM execution is required.
  • Correcting and generate SOPs when required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to access such information or eligible for government authorization.

Skills

  • 2+ years prior work experience
  • Two year technical degree, equivalent military experience (or if not available, 2-5 years direct experience).
  • Experience working in Semiconductor/High Volume Manufacturing Facilities.
  • 300mm Endura Producer and/or AMAT experience is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience working in high volume fabrication
  • AMAT Robot experience is also a strong plus along with LFM set-up

Compensation

  • ​ The current base salary range for this role is between $20.50/hour - $55.00/hour.
  • Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
