Responsibilities

  • Review and validate operational data, including cost basis information when applicable, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Research and resolve transfer and operational discrepancies through analysis and collaboration with internal and external business partners.
  • Conduct outreach to financial advisors and contra firms to obtain missing transfer or cost basis information, explain requirements, and drive timely resolution of outstanding items.
  • Maintain accurate books and records through daily audits and quality reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and transfer agents to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
  • Update and maintain procedures and documentation to support process consistency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently explain transfer and cost basis requirements to financial advisors and business partners.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with advisors, contra firms, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple workstreams, and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.

Nice to have

  • Minimum of 1 years of industry experience (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (Required)
  • Experience in brokerage and banking (Preferred)

Skills

  • Knowledge of ACAT, Non-ACAT, DTC, and related transfer processes.
  • Understanding of brokerage operations and securities transfers.
  • Familiarity with cost basis concepts, tax lots, and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve complex operational issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate books and records.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to quickly learn multiple business systems.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Familiarity with CBRS, Maxit, or similar brokerage operations systems preferred.

Compensation

  • Early Career $57,500-$67,500
  • Mid to Experienced $63,000-$75,000
  • This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location.
  • This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
  • The Base Salary range for this position is within the following ranges:
