About the role

  • Launching a new vehicle is one of the most complex challenges in manufacturing, and this role exists to ensure exterior systems and components are ready for production without disrupting operations.
  • Success in the first 12 months means supporting flawless implementation of exterior product changes, improving launch readiness through disciplined execution, and helping teams identify and resolve risks before they impact production.
  • Engineering Change Implementation: Evaluate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) by assessing implementation timing, material availability, manufacturing impact, system readiness, and operational feasibility.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing Engineering, Program Launch, Change Management, MBOM Management, or related activities.
  • Working knowledge of MBOM structures and engineering change management processes.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or product launch environment.
  • Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting exterior vehicle systems, body engineering, closures, trim, or related automotive produc
