About the role
- Strong programming experience in C#/.NET and Node.js/TypeScript with a focus on test automation development.
- Proven experience in web, API, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test scenarios for device provisioning, access management, connectivity, and security workflows.
- Analyze defects, troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive quality improvements within Agile delivery teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, C#/.NET, and Node.js/TypeScript.
- Create and execute automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and end-to-end user workflows across connected device platforms.
- Validate device connectivity, firmware releases, and hardware-software interactions to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Perform testing of BLE-enabled and IoT devices, verifying communication reliability and integration with cloud services.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SQL, database validation, and test data management techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and hardware-software integration testing.
- Knowledge of firmware validation and OTA (Over-the-Air) update testing.
- Experience with IoT protocols such as MQTT, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Z-Wave, and NFC.
- Experience with performance, scalability, and security testing.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, firmware diagnostics, and hardware troubleshooting tools.
Skills

- Hands-on expertise with Playwright and Selenium automation frameworks and framework development from scratch.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
