About the role
- The position serves as the primary liaison between outside counsel docketing teams and the internal IP team, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all docketing systems.
- This role reports to the Vice President, Intellectual Property.
Responsibilities
- Audit, investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain data integrity.
- Establish and maintain alerts, reminders, and workflows for upcoming deadlines and action items.
- Coordinate with outside counsel attorneys, paralegals, and docketing staff to ensure timely receipt of documents and accuracy of deadlines.
- Docketing Platform Support
- Serve as liaison between our docketing platform service provider and the IP team for system support, training, enhancements, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Identify, monitor, and track all key dates, deadlines, and required actions associated with each matter.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in patent, trademark and annuities processes and management.
- Hands-on experience with various docketing systems and annuity management.
- Knowledge of basic domestic and foreign patent and trademark office processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with sound data driven decision-making ability.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology companies.
- Big pharma experience a plus.

Compensation
- $143,000 - $178,000 USD
