About the role

The position serves as the primary liaison between outside counsel docketing teams and the internal IP team, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all docketing systems.
This role reports to the Vice President, Intellectual Property.

Audit, investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain data integrity.
Establish and maintain alerts, reminders, and workflows for upcoming deadlines and action items.
Coordinate with outside counsel attorneys, paralegals, and docketing staff to ensure timely receipt of documents and accuracy of deadlines.
Docketing Platform Support
Serve as liaison between our docketing platform service provider and the IP team for system support, training, enhancements, and issue resolution.

Identify, monitor, and track all key dates, deadlines, and required actions associated with each matter.

Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in patent, trademark and annuities processes and management.
Hands-on experience with various docketing systems and annuity management.
Knowledge of basic domestic and foreign patent and trademark office processes.
Strong problem-solving skills with sound data driven decision-making ability.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology companies.
Big pharma experience a plus.

The base pay salary range for this full-time position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is listed below.
Base Pay Salary Range

$143,000 - $178,000 USD
