About the role
- Data & Reporting Analyst is responsible for all points of data mining, extraction, manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
- This position requires an extremely detailed, timely, consistent and accurate approach to reporting.
- Having strong written and verbal communication skills are critical to succeed in this position as senior management and headquarters team will be the targeted audiences for the reports and analysis performed by this position.
Responsibilities
- Data mining & extraction from multiple sources to build reports
- Help drive critical business decisions by in depth analysis; provide recommendations based on findings
- Develop models that help with decision-making
- The main function of the Data Analyst is to provide business intelligence support and supporting areas by means of both repeatable and ad hoc reporting delivery reports (charts, graphs, tables, etc) that enable informed business decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in reports and data analysis within logistics, distribution center, warehouse, and/or supply chain environments
- Experience in cost analysis, and reporting of key performance indicators
- High proficiency in MS Excel (40%), SQL (35%), Access, BI Tools, and PowerPoint (25%) is required
- Experience in a logistics, warehouse, and/or supply chain (operations) environment is required
- Experience with SAP is required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or related field
- Results driven and ability to handle multiple projects
- In order to meet daily responsibilities, the candidate must be proficient with SAP, MS Excel, SQL, PowerPoint
- and, must have experience developing dashboards using BI Tools.
- Must be able to work without supervision
Skills
- Experience in logistics, distribution center, warehouse, and/or supply chain environments
- High proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, Access, PowerPoint, and BI Tools
- Proficiency in SAP and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Report automation & design
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills
- Strong data mining skills and experience extracting & manipulating data from multiple sources
- Critical thinking skills - analysis, interpretation, inference, explanation, self-regulation, open-mindedness, and problem-solving
- Strong math, communication, and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural business environment
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to employ effective time management skills
