Responsibilities
- Participate in both configuration control board (CCB) and Design Review Board (DRB) meetings and provide configuration management input as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and program management, to ensure CM processes support and align with program requirements.
- Support Senior CM team member with the preparation and execution of configuration audits and reviews.
Requirements
- Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as PLM databases.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Configuration Management or related discipline is required.
Nice to have
- Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of CM processes and procedures in alignment with industry standards and company requirements.
- Assist in generation and distribution of CM reports and metrics providing visibility into the configuration status of changes objects.
- Assist in the resolution of configuration related issues and discrepancies.
- Assist with the release process to ensure accuracy and completeness of change objects.
- Assist with preparation of monthly deliveries of revised work products.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommended solutions.
- Basic understanding of CM principles, practices, and standards
- Familiarity with military/commercial CM and documentation-related specifications and standards (such as ANSI/EIA-649, ASME/Y14, MIL-STD-31000, MIL-STD-961, etc.)
