About the role
- We are seeking experienced Energy Auditors to join our team as 1099 independent contractors in Dallas, Austin, Houston, or San Antonio.
- As an Energy Auditor with GreenWorks, you will conduct comprehensive energy assessments for residential and commercial, identifying opportunities for improved energy efficiency and cost savings.
Responsibilities
- Perform blower door tests, duct leakage tests, and infrared thermography to assess building envelope efficiency.
- Use GreenWorks' reporting software to document audit findings and recommendations.
- Knowledge of building science, HVAC systems, insulation, and air sealing techniques.
Requirements
- Experience conducting energy audits, home performance assessments, or sustainability consulting.
- Strong understanding of Texas energy codes and efficiency rebate programs.
- Must have liability insurance as an independent contractor.
- Ability to pass a background check (if required by clients).
Compensation
- Compensation is based on per-audit fees or project rates.
