About the role
- Retroviruses are RNA viruses that infect the host utilizing a DNA intermediate.
- Over evolutionary time, some of these retroviruses have incorporated into germ cells and became part of the genome of their host (became endogenous).
- Sometimes, these endogenous viruses can become released, causing a new infection.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate behaviors and actions that support student recruitment, retention, and student success initiatives.
- Demonstrate behaviors and action that support the College's values
- Design experiments with relevant controls
- Under the guidance of the principle investigator (PI) students will be immersed in an undergraduate research experience where they plan, design, and execute experiments.
Requirements
- Ability to follow detailed directions
- Students in this course are not required to complete the online activities and discussion boards.
Compensation
- $10k-$506k
