- Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago Job Description General Summary: The Medical Assistant is responsible for daily clinical work in the outpatient/primary care setting in accordance with the Ambulatory Medical Assistant Scope of Practice.
- Assists Physicians and other staff under the direction of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Nurse and/or Physician.

Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
Skills
- High school diploma required.
- Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant program.
- Possesses 0 - 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred but not required.
- Some college, preferred.
Compensation
- $19.00-$28.50 Hourly
