About the role

Job Description Summary The Sterling Mechanic Assistant will be a team contributor to the repair and overhaul of composite propeller systems.
In this role, you will assist in the assembly, disassembly, and repair of propellers and related units.

Comply with and support all GE and Site policies.
Prioritize work and meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Perform a variety of support functions such as warehouse, material handling / movement and area housekeeping.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment, produce quality results, help control costs, meet production requirements, and develop job knowledge and manufacturing skills.
Manual dexterity to perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Team Building, undergo on-the-job training to learn specific skills / tasks.

High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 1 year of Mechanical experience.
Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
