About the role
- Direct outpatient care to pediatric patients, including pre- and post-transplant patients.
- Direct inpatient care to pediatric patients, including pre- and post-transplant patients.
- Attendance at multidisciplinary transplant conferences and rounds.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience, especially in GI & transplant Hepatology, to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care.
Skills
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
- Commitment to the University's core values.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with staff, patients, and family members.
- Must demonstrate the ability to meet responsibilities of the position.
- Specialized training in T ransplant Hepatology after fellowship highly desired.
- Experience working and teaching in academic setting highly desired.
