About the role

  • This role works directly with both Search and Coupang leadership and requires the ability to both understand the extremely nuanced complexities of LLMs/Ranking models/statistics and communicate the corresponding strategic recommendations to the C-suite.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in data science/analytics
  • 5+ years of experience in people management
  • Deep expertise in experimentation and statistics
  • Ability to communicate data concepts simply and succinctly to cross-functional team members, up to the C-suite

Nice to have

  • Experience in e-commerce or marketplace environments
  • Experience leading global or multi-region teams
  • Background in fast-scaling consumer technology companies
  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
  • The base pay for this position ranges from $184,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $376,000/year in our highest geographic market.
