About the role
- You will serve as a Biologist for the Pacific Reefs National Wildlife Refuge Complex.
- First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.
- Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) rate of 8.64 percent is authorized.
Responsibilities
- Duties are primarily to plan, develop, coordinate, and implement the biological programs for a refuge/complex, or a limited segment of biological programs.
- Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Requirements
- Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
- Specialized experience may include: Conducts routine field experiments using various data-collection systems and extracts and analyzes data from these systems

Compensation
- $64,438 - $101,359.
