About the role
- Oversee the monthly financial close for the management company, including account reconciliations, management company financial statements, and timely delivery to senior leadership.
- Represent RTW in key vendor and counterparty relationships with professionalism and authority.
- Oversight of annual audits for RTW's global management company entities
Responsibilities
- Establish, document, and enforce internal controls and financial policies
- Partner directly with RTW's internal tax team to address requests and support ongoing needs.
- Own and manage the full accounts payable cycle, invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor management, setting standards for quality and timeliness in partnership with the outsourced accounting service provider.
- Lead policy enforcement across accounts payable and expense submissions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- proven ability to operate as a functional owner in a lean, high-expectation environment with minimal oversight.
- are not comprehensive, and additional tasks may be assigned as required.
Nice to have
- CPA designation, or meaningful progress toward licensure, is strongly preferred.
- 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- management company, fund, or financial services background strongly preferred.
- Prior experience managing or overseeing an outsourced accounting or accounts payable service provider strongly preferred.
- Hands-on Concur experience required
- prior system administration, policy configuration, or implementation experience strongly preferred.

- This senior accounting role has broad responsibility for the firm's management company financial operations, including accounts payable, expense management, internal controls, month-end close, financial reporting, and oversight of the annual audit.
- The ideal candidate is a seasoned accounting professional who can independently lead the function, build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and outsourced providers, and bring structure and reliability to RTW's management company operations.
