About the role

AIS is seeking a.NET & React Full Stack Developer to join our team and support a mission-critical federal client in Washington, DC.
In this role, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of secure web applications and services that support high-impact operations. You will work hands-on with the.NET framework and modern front-end technologies to build clean, efficient, and reliable solutions that integrate seamlessly across backend, frontend, and cloud

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack application features using C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React and modern UI development practices
Develop scalable and secure backend components and APIs to support application functionality
Collaborate with senior developers and architects to implement technical designs and follow established patterns and standards
Support operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks, including bug fixes, minor enhancements, and performance tuning
Experience developing front-end applications or components using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to continually enhance code quality and technical proficiency
Required For This Opportunity
Active Top Secret clearance is required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Basic understanding of DevOps practices or exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
Experience working with Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs) such as Entity Framework
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker
Relevant certifications in.NET development, React/front-end development, cloud technologies, or software engineering
Modify and enhance existing code to improve performance, usability, and maintainability
Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and services as needed
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment
