About the role

  • AIS is seeking a.NET & React Full Stack Developer to join our team and support a mission-critical federal client in Washington, DC.
  • In this role, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of secure web applications and services that support high-impact operations. You will work hands-on with the.NET framework and modern front-end technologies to build clean, efficient, and reliable solutions that integrate seamlessly across backend, frontend, and cloud

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack application features using C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React and modern UI development practices
  • Develop scalable and secure backend components and APIs to support application functionality
  • Collaborate with senior developers and architects to implement technical designs and follow established patterns and standards
  • Support operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks, including bug fixes, minor enhancements, and performance tuning
  • Experience developing front-end applications or components using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

Requirements

  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to continually enhance code quality and technical proficiency
  • Required For This Opportunity
  • Active Top Secret clearance is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Basic understanding of DevOps practices or exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
  • Experience working with Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs) such as Entity Framework
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Docker
  • Relevant certifications in.NET development, React/front-end development, cloud technologies, or software engineering
  • Modify and enhance existing code to improve performance, usability, and maintainability
  • Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and services as needed
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment
