About the role

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Software Engineer will develop motion planning software tailored to robotic manipulation in packing applications.
  • Demonstrated ability developing and debugging real world robotic systems gained through at least two (2) years of work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability developing in a Linux-based environment gained through at least two (2) years of work experience.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability with python code and C++ gained through at least two (2) years of work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt motion planning algorithms to 6-DoF industrial robotic arms gained through at least one (1) year of work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability with ROS (Robot Operating System), OpenRAVE, MoveIt, or other equivalent robotic motion planning and execution frameworks gained through at least one (1) year of work experience.
  • All years of experience may be gained concurrently.

Compensation

  • One hundred fifty-nine thousand three hundred ninety to one hundred eighty-nine thousand three hundred ninety dollars per year.
  • Travel Requirement: At least 5% domestic travel per year.
