Position Overview Trojan Battery Company is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

Provide process and operations support and input to cross functional teams.
Ensure that Lean manufacturing principles apply for waste removal and ergonomics within all aspects of system, lines, and cells design, familiar with Tack Times, SMED, Poke Yoke, Kan-Bans, Kaizen, 6S, A3, TPM, etc.
Responsible for compliance and maintaining and adhering to local and federal regulations within system design
Prepare engineering documents including, Process Flow Diagram, pFMEA, Standard Operation Sheets, Job Element Sheets, and related time studies, cost estimates, line and cell balancing, standard operation sheets, capital expense requests, project schedules, design specifications, equipment specifications, and construction specifications

3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
3 years of formal technical training in the areas of equipment and equipment operation technology - Work experience may be substitute for formal training.
Proactive, ability to think in an overall business and financial manner
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, AutoCAD, and statistical software
Some work travel may be required

4-year degree required, in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical and or Electro-Mechanical Engineer preferred
Technical degree in engineering preferred.
