About the role
- This role reports to the plant Operations Manager.
- This role will be based in our manufacturing facility in Westfield, NY.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintenance of processing equipment, refrigeration, boiler room, waste plant, building maintenance, and seasonal preparation.
- Supervise and lead the maintenance / processing team in addition to the above maintenance responsibilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Train mechanics in the proper set-up, adjustment, and maintenance of, processing and seasonal support equipment and supervise them to accomplish maintenance requirements.

Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to safely work on and around complex, highly automated machinery in a non-temperature regulated environment.
- Minimum of four years related applicable experience with Supervision of machine maintenance and repair in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to flex shift as business needs arise.
- This role primarily works typical dayshift hours, however may be required to flex into alternate shifts.

Nice to have
- Experience in food manufacturing strongly preferred, Lean and Six Sigma a plus.
Compensation
- The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 annually for US-based employees.
