About the role

This role is an active member of the front desk team and works to welcome patient families for their appointment and serves as liaison between patient families and the clinical team.
Provides exceptional patient experience by assisting patients, parents, providers and other staff through the standard front desk functions, including check-in and check-out services following access modules and Patient Experience Promise.
Utilizes EPIC scheduling applications and work queues to facilitate appointment scheduling, wait list management, reschedule list, cancelled appointments, registration work queues, patient communication/texting platform and In Basket Review.

Support registration of patients and/or legal guardians with a MyChart account and access

Maintains proficiency with EPIC and other applications or competencies as required.

1+ years related work experience Required
Requires good concentration skills in order to serve a variety of people in a fast paced environment and to handle incoming calls in an efficient and accurate manner.
Required flexibility in order to prioritize efforts to meet needs of the patients, parents, physicians and other staff.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Requires excellent interpersonal skills in order to assist patients, parents, and physicians and other staff.
