About the role

Responsibilities

- Binnie is looking for a Civil Technologist to Transportation Major Projects Division, which provides Owner's Engineer services for the design and procurement of major infrastructure projects in British Columbia.
- You will carry out design work, CAD assignments, and site inspections.
- Preparing drafting and design tasks using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Preparing basic design calculations, analyses, and reports
- Performing and documenting quality control checks on drafting and design work in accordance with Binnie's quality management policies and procedures.

Requirements
- 1+ years of experience on projects in a civil consulting engineering environment for Technologist role
- Eligible to register as a Trainee Registrant with ASTTBC or as a Technician/Technologist-in Training (T.T.) with ASET (must be done within first three months of employment)
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients
Nice to have
- Previous hands-on experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Previous field experience preferred

Compensation
- The salary for this position is commensurate with experience; the salary range for this position is $57,190 - $79,400 annually.
- The final salary for this role may vary based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
