About the role

As the Maintenance Team Manager, you will be a critical architect of reliability and technical excellence at our state-of-the-art facility.

Design and execute equipment maintenance strategies (Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective) to ensure reliability meets or exceeds production capacity targets.
Partner with Engineering to evaluate new equipment specifications, ensuring long-term maintainability and spare parts optimization from the design phase through installation.
Formulate and manage multi-million dollar O&M budgets and capital projects, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with plant profitability.
Manage and mentor a multi-skilled team of engineers and technicians, fostering a "Leaders as Teachers" environment that prioritizes technical upskilling.
Recruit and develop a diverse, high-performing team capable of supporting advanced battery technology and automated manufacturing systems.

At Ford Energy, you have the backing of an industrial manufacturing powerhouse with the agility of a dedicated energy startup offering industry leading technology.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.

3+ years of maintenance management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (Automotive, Aerospace, or Electronics preferred).

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

As Ford establishes a wholly owned subsidiary focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems, this role will initially be employed by Ford and is expected to transition to the subsidiary within one year.
