About the role
- Today, the College of Engineering is the largest college on the College Station campus with more than 25,000 engineering students enrolled in 15 departments.
- Job Description Purpose: The Academic Advisor I, complies with all state, system, and university policies, regulations, rules, procedures, guidelines, and directives in a timely manner and adhere to confidentiality policies (FERPA).

Responsibilities
- Monitors academic progress and implements intervention strategies for students who receive academic alerts or who need assistance in maintaining or improving their academic standing.
- Applies knowledge of State, University, and college policies and procedures. Maintains accurate records of student contacts.
- Documents need to be presented no later than the third day of employment.
Requirements
- If hired, you will be required to complete the federal Employment Eligibility Verification I-9 form.
- You will be required to present acceptable and original documents to prove your identity and authorization to work in the United States.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with no additional experience required
