Responsibilities
- Hardware Design & Estimation Engineer participates in electrical control design and solutioning.
- Utilizing standards in electrical controls design.
- Comfortable with hands-on design and product development, familiar with ProposalWorks and Estimating Controls Projects.
- Create electrical controls schematics including wiring diagrams, panel layouts, push-button station layouts, safety circuits, and other hardware related documents.
- Participate in the development and management of department processes, such as CAD library & functionality, operating procedures, software tools and design methods.
- Maintain current knowledge of electrical and related safety standards as they relate to control panel design, build, machine safety, and machine wiring.
- This position has direct reports and will manage 3rd party suppliers/vendors and employees working to provide development assistance on your assigned projects.
- Will guide/direct electrical installers and collaborate with project and program managers.
Requirements
- Experience with performance management.
- Proficiency drafting electrical designs using AutoCAD.
- Other Requirements/Comments Regular travel to KPI COEs (up to 25%) required as necessary.
