Responsibilities

  • Hardware Design & Estimation Engineer participates in electrical control design and solutioning.
  • Utilizing standards in electrical controls design.
  • Comfortable with hands-on design and product development, familiar with ProposalWorks and Estimating Controls Projects.
  • Create electrical controls schematics including wiring diagrams, panel layouts, push-button station layouts, safety circuits, and other hardware related documents.
  • Participate in the development and management of department processes, such as CAD library & functionality, operating procedures, software tools and design methods.
  • Maintain current knowledge of electrical and related safety standards as they relate to control panel design, build, machine safety, and machine wiring.
  • This position has direct reports and will manage 3rd party suppliers/vendors and employees working to provide development assistance on your assigned projects.
  • Will guide/direct electrical installers and collaborate with project and program managers.

Requirements

  • Experience with performance management.
  • Proficiency drafting electrical designs using AutoCAD.
  • Other Requirements/Comments Regular travel to KPI COEs (up to 25%) required as necessary.
