About the role
- The Director of Procurement will oversee all sourcing and purchasing activities for our medical supplies; equipment company, ensuring that products are acquired cost- effectively, on time.
- This role is responsible for the management of all strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, contract management, and day-to-day purchasing operations.
Responsibilities
- Vendor & Supplier Management - Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent quality and service. - Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Cost Optimization & Reporting - Analyze spend data to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities. - Develop and track procurement KPIs, including cost savings, lead times, and supplier performance. - Implement cost control measures without compromising patient care or operational efficiency.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate combines a strategic mindset with hands-on execution skills, driving both cost savings and operational efficiency, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Proven experience in both strategic sourcing and purchasing operations.
