About the role

  • Under the direction of the Distribution Manager, will provide all aspects of leadership to HP Hood site drivers as well as the Distribution/Transportation Department by collaborating with drivers on the road conducting audits and training.
  • Provide all aspects of leadership to HP Hood site drivers and the Distribution/Transportation Department.
  • New Hire trainings to include at least two ride alongs a week.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain DOT, HOS, and FMCSA compliance.
  • Function as a back-up to drive routes in the event of a driver call out.

Requirements

  • Employment is subject to verification of an applicant's identity and eligibility for employment in the United States as required by immigration laws.

Nice to have

  • Experience in route structuring, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Proven knowledge of DOT, FMCSA and HOS regulations and distribution safety management
  • Prior experience in supervising commercial drivers preferred.
