About the role
- This role reports to VP of Tech and operates as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities
- Deliver scalable services and components that successfully replace our.NET legacy platform to Python on Databricks
- Design and implement secure, maintainable APIs and integrations that support internal systems and third-party platforms
- Partner effectively with engineering, data, and product teams while influencing architecture, standards, and delivery practices
- Wear Green First, Pull the Thread, Move the Needle, Courage Over Comfort, Think Bold, Win Together, and Own the Outcome
Nice to have
- Vue.js or modern frontend frameworks, Streamlit, Terraform/Bicep, AI-enabled application patterns, and familiarity with.NET/C#

- Step 2: Hiring Manager Interview (1 hour) A deeper discussion about the role, your relevant experience, and how you'd contribute to the team.
- Step 3: Role-Specific Assessment or Panel Interview (1 hour) Depending on the role, this may include a take-home assignment, technical interview, or live case study with team members.
- Step 5: Offer & Background Check If it's a mutual fit, we'll move forward with background check and present a competitive offer.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Skills
- Advanced Python (service development, testing, packaging, maintainable design)
- Must have proven experience and skills working with Databricks, Spark, and data platform ecosystems
- Frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
- Azure cloud services (compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, API management)
- CI/CD pipelines, version control, and tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- DevOps fundamentals including deployment pipelines and secrets management
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing
