About the role
- Purpose within the Organization: The purpose of this position is to help scan Guests with events on campus.
- In the Arena, every employee is expected to act as an Ambassador of the University.
- Experience/Education: Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a positive, friendly, and outgoing personality.
- Must be punctual and customer service orientated.
- Must have a Service-orientated mindset and capable of making every guest feel valued.
- Must be able to communicate with Guests and Supervisor.
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
- Appropriately handle guest problems or complaints and will contact a supervisor when intervention is required.
- Responsible, Trustworthy, Approachable, Dependable, and Assertive.

- Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
- Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
- Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2027
