About the role
- Job Title: CNA - Certified Nurse Assistant Unit: Acute Care Employment Type: PRN / Minimum of 4 shifts in a six-week schedule.
- Reporting to the Director, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) may be assigned to function in either the Health Unit Coordinator or Nursing Assistant role.

- When functioning in the Nursing Assistant role, the CNA works under the delegated authority of a registered nurse to perform a nursing function within their scope of practice and assist the nurse in collecting data for a nursing assessment under the supervision of a nurse.
