About the role

  • The Patient Care Coordinator is the first impression when patients and guests arrive at InnovaCare Health facilities.
  • They also assist patients by assessing, facilitating, planning, and advocating for health needs on an individual and on-going basis.
  • Welcome s patients and visitors upon arrival to the clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Manage s waiting room to ensure wait times are within 15-minutes of arrival.
  • Organized and ability to manage competing priorities.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift to 5 0 pounds.
  • Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 100 pounds of force.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use fine motor skills to operate equipment and/or machinery.
  • Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing.
  • Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving.
  • Occasional travel for clinic activities may be required (ex.
  • Innovacare participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Assists patient with intake processes including scann ing required documents.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations required.

Skills

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
