About the role
- The Patient Care Coordinator is the first impression when patients and guests arrive at InnovaCare Health facilities.
- They also assist patients by assessing, facilitating, planning, and advocating for health needs on an individual and on-going basis.
- Welcome s patients and visitors upon arrival to the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Manage s waiting room to ensure wait times are within 15-minutes of arrival.
- Organized and ability to manage competing priorities.
Requirements
- Ability to lift to 5 0 pounds.
- Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 100 pounds of force.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use fine motor skills to operate equipment and/or machinery.
- Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing.
- Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving.
- Occasional travel for clinic activities may be required (ex.
- Innovacare participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
- Assists patient with intake processes including scann ing required documents.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations required.
Skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
