About the role

  • This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the entire organization during critical hours of operation.
  • Position Overview The RN House Supervisor serves as the administrative and clinical leader of the hospital during assigned shifts.
  • This role is responsible for overseeing hospital operations, supporting clinical staff, ensuring quality patient care, and responding to emergent situations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a mentor, resource, and support for nursing and clinical staff
  • Respond to and manage urgent and emergent situations
  • Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and administration to ensure continuity of care
  • Support conflict resolution and problem-solving in real time

Requirements

  • Basic Life Support (BLS). required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). required within 6 months
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). required within 6 months

Nice to have

  • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience preferred

  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations

  • Employment Requirements

Compensation

  • Commensurate with experience
  • Provide hospital-wide leadership and oversight during assigned shifts
  • Coordinate staffing and patient care activities across all departments
  • Serve as a mentor, resource, and support for nursing and clinical staff
  • Facilitate patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Respond to and manage urgent and emergent situations
