About the role
- This position is responsible for identifying and resolving equipment issues, installing new machinery, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives with a strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high quality standards in all work
- Install and start up new manufacturing or support equipment, including assembly, wiring, and equipment adjustments
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC machine controls, motor controls, AC/DC drives, temperature controls, gas burner controls, induction furnaces, and common industrial instrumentation
- Help develop preventive maintenance schedules using OEM and component manuals
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Shift Team Leader
Requirements
- 2-year technical degree in industrial maintenance or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Install conduit, cable trays, and other wiring systems as required
Skills
- Overhead work
- Climbing ladders or stairs
- Driving forklifts
- Operating cranes
