About the role
- FIGS is hiring a Senior Associate, Raw Materials - Trim to play an integral role in a fast-growing medical apparel company.
- This position is for someone who wants to jump in headfirst to make an immediate impact and work in a collaborative team environment.
- This role's base salary range is between $75,000 and $85,000.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Design to source and develop seasonal and CORE trim & packaging for garment and accessories including handbags
- Vet new artwork for feasibility and provide technical feedback to design
- Build and manage supplier relationships
- Developing new colorways in trim artwork
- Establish, manage and maintain comprehensive trim library
- Manage the quality approval of developments in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain collaborative and strong partnerships with key strategic vendors
- Manage all quality approval, tracking, testing and inspection of trim production
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the fashion industry with a knowledge of trim development for garments and handbags
- Must be able to identify issues and analyze relevant data to determine the correct and appropriate course of action and generate solutions
- Strong knowledge of trim testing requirements
- Must be deadline driven and have a proactive and creative approach to problem solving
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and tasks in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to lift and handle packages in excess of 40 lbs
- Excellent organizational, communication, follow-up skills and attention to detail
- Strong sense of urgency and intuitive sense of priorities & accuracy
- Proficient in PLM, data bases, Excel, Adobe Illustrator and MS Office applications
- Superior Color Vision is an advantage
- Strong command of written and spoken English

- At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $75,000 and $85,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.

- Bachelor's Degree in Apparel, Textiles or Merchandising or related field preferred
Compensation
- At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package.
- This role's base salary range is between $75,000 and $85,000.
- Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
